Caer Llan offers a choice of ceremony spaces, whether indoors or out, with the freedom to decide on the day itself. Outdoors, the spacious patio, with its charming gazebo, provides a scenic spot for exchanging vows, and a stretch tent can be set up for comfort and shade in the summer. Alternatively, the indoor ceremony room offers an elegant setting with floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the stunning surroundings.
For the reception, Caer Llan offers versatile options to suit your preferences. Indoor dining and an elegant outdoor stretch tent provide space for up to 80 guests in round or long table configurations, allowing flexibility in seating and style. The reception experience is complemented by the in-house catering team, who work to create a personalised menu that meets dietary needs and delights every guest.
The venue offers comfortable overnight accommodation in 16 en-suite bedrooms, allowing guests to stay and enjoy the celebration. Nine rooms are located in the main house, while seven additional rooms are in an eco-friendly, earth-sheltered berm house that provides natural temperature regulation. The bridal suite, with its beautiful views, adds an extra special touch for the happy couple. Rooms include Freeview TV, tea and coffee facilities, travel cots and highchair options.
The talented in-house catering team sources local, high-quality ingredients to create a menu that feels personal and fresh, from crowd-pleasing dishes to refined, fine dining options. Bar offerings include a range of beverages at prices comparable to local pubs, featuring a popular spritzer menu, allowing guests to celebrate in style without extra cost.
Caer Llan combines beautiful celebrations with eco-conscious values. The earth-sheltered berm house is an award-winning structure that provides natural climate control without heating or air conditioning, housing seven guest rooms. The venue also operates an eco-friendly reed bed sewage system and has installed a large solar panel system that generates most of the venue’s power needs.
Located in the picturesque Wye Valley, Caer Llan is just a short 10-minute drive from the historic town of Monmouth. While it feels tucked away from the bustle, access is convenient: the Severn Bridge is a 20-minute drive, and both Cardiff and Bristol are reachable in just 45 minutes, making it easy for guests to arrive and enjoy this scenic escape.
