The Setting

Exclusive Rural wedding venue in the heart of Gloucestershire. Set in an idyllic location, Milton End farm offers the perfect location for your country wedding.

The Vibe

Milton End as a wedding venue is brand new, but with the best team in place with over 22 years combined experience, they will help you create your dream wedding on their farm.

The wedding barn and holiday barns are situated around a communal courtyard which is exclusively yours from the moment you check in, to the moment you check out. From the barn, you will see many of their friendly animals grazing in the orchard. These include goats, ponies, alpacas and everyone’s favourite Dominic the Donkey. They’re all waiting to say hello.

All of their packages include exclusive use of the wedding barn and holiday cottages for 3 nights, four days meaning you can make it into a weekend celebration rather than just a day.

Their holiday barns sleep 23 guests in total across 7 barns. Each barn has its own fully equipped kitchen that allows your guests to cater for themselves over the weekend. Your guests can check in to their holiday barns the day before from 2pm and check out by 10am on the Monday after your wedding.

Milton End Farm is the most perfect setting. A chance discovery that led to a wedding so special, we will never forget. The barns offered a beautiful space, with the freedom for us to make it our own. We loved that we were able to set up the day before and spend the night there with our whole wedding party (babies and doggy included). The beautiful setting allowed people to wander around and relax in the evening and during the morning of the wedding. The cottages had everything each family could need. It felt like a holiday.

We would like to say thank you so much to all the staff at Milton End, especially to Kate and our co-ordinator Rebecca – such an amazing team, who were almost as excited about our big day as we were! Even with last minute changes to restrictions, she and Kate were swift to form a plan and impact us as little as possible. Always at the end of the phone and super quick responses to emails and texts.

Rebecca and Kate worked tirelessly to make our day run as smooth as possible. Sliding a drink into our hands after hours of taking photos did not go unnoticed. Acts like this throughout the day made us feel truly looked after and special. It was such a nice feeling to be creating a day with people who are so excited and passionate about what they do.

We don’t know where to start. When Ben and I found this venue online, we instantly knew this could be it. When we visited the venue for the first time we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Absolutely stunning venue and was so us. The team at Milton End are fantastic. Since we booked our wedding July 2021 the team have worked extremely hard improving the venue all the time and it has been amazing to see the progress.

We were Introduced to our wedding coordinator Rebecca. Well where do I start with the most incredible, amazing, kindest person ever. Rebecca from start to finish made our wedding planning experience very chilled and straight forward. We had regular planning meetings to discuss further ideas which really helped us ensure that everything was in place for the big day. I can’t thank her enough for what she did on our big day. Everything ran like clockwork and she really did go above and beyond to make sure our day was as special as it could be and it really was. I can’t thank you enough for continuing to check on me in the morning keeping me calm and letting us know how things were going. We also want to thank Jackie for being there in the evening and being another port of call if there were any queries.

We truly can’t thank everyone enough for their support and effort to making this venue so spectacular. We had many members of our wedding party comment on how beautiful and stunning the venue was. Thank you all at Milton End Farm! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married.

Milton End Wedding Barn is the most fantastic place to get married. From the venue, to the staff, to the recommendations everything was perfect. My now husband and I knew from the moment we saw the venue that it would be the perfect place to get married and we weren’t wrong!

It’s in a beautiful setting in Arlingham, with the correct mixtures of spaces to relax, to drink and to eat and to stay! Having the accommodation surrounding the venue meant that we could spend quality time with our immediate family in the lead up to the wedding as well as the days after, something very few venues offer and we feel so lucky that we were able to do this- the icing on the cake so to speak.

Holly, our wedding coordinator, was nothing short of incredible. The whole day ran smoothly, even with changes of events. Rain meant we couldn’t get married outside even though most things were set up- but no change was too big or small. She recognised when things needed to be changed or people were stressed and took the stress out of the situation. All our suppliers worked closely together to make sure there wasn’t a hiccup! We had excellent recommendations of what to do, how to run the events and things to consider.

When we left, both my husband and I agreed, we feel a very special connection with the venue and look forward to spending time walking and visiting Milton End in the future. It was a truly wonderful time, thanks to Kate, Holly and all the team at Milton End!

It’s an absolute gem of a place and we had so many compliments about how wonderful a venue it is.

Now that we’ve had a little more time to digest everything that happened this weekend, we just wanted to say another humongous thank you to you especially and also the team and Milton End and the lovely bar team for making our wedding the most wonderful day of our lives… best wedding ever (no bias here obviously!). We had the most incredible day! And although everyone told me it would fly by, I can’t believe how fast everything did go!

Thank you for being such an amazing part of our experience! It was such a relief to know that someone so kind and helpful was on hand to help with any questions and to know that we were in such safe hands for the wedding day itself made it much easier to relax (the control freak in me does not find it easy to do this haha! But I certainly did at our wedding knowing that not a fairy light was out of place!)

We loved seeing the changes in the barns as our planning journey went along and we still can’t believe how lucky we were to find Milton End! It was so fun discovering the new additions every time we visited! It’s an absolute gem of a place and we had so many compliments about how wonderful a venue it is. I’m more than 100% positive that it will keep going from strength to strength as the years go on – any couple getting married here are the luckiest!

I honestly could go on and on singing all of your praises forever! The biggest of thank you’s again for everything that you did for us! We’re sad it’s over but so grateful that everything went ahead and was just perfect!

Thank you Milton End Farm – the perfect venue!

We are so grateful to Kate and the team at Milton End. We were so disappointed when our wedding couldn’t go ahead last year and feared this might have ruined our plans for a weekend long celebration at this beautiful venue with family and friends. We were quickly reassured and supported by our amazing wedding coordinator – Holly Evans – who has such passion for what she does.

Another year on and the barns looked even more stunning than when we first fell in love with them. The team there have worked so hard on the improvements and it has certainly paid off.

We loved every single moment of our weekend – future couples are in for a real treat!

Honestly where to start. From the moment we visited the venue in late 2020 we fell in love with Milton End and we knew it was for us. It was amazing to see the hard work that Kate and the team were putting into the venue every time we went for our planning meetings. Each time we saw the venue it had improved massively from underfloor hearing to a timber clad roof and the fire place being fully operational.

When we booked our wedding with Kate we were then introduced to our wedding coordinator Holly who from day one put us at ease and was a breath of fresh air with our wedding planning. We had quarterly meetings with Holly to update her on our plans and she was always excited to hear our plans and shared ideas with us that we might not had considered. This continued all the way up to our wedding day where she couldn’t of done enough for us. Holly was there from the morning of our wedding right through to after our first dance, ensuring the caterers were organised, the timings of the day all went to plan and that everyone was enjoying themselves and having a good time. I also can’t thank you enough for helping me stay calm during the morning and helping with my dress!

When we booked the wedding we were also told alongside the main barn we got all 7 of the holiday cottages included. It was lovely as we all stayed the night before the wedding and enjoyed getting ready there the morning of the wedding. When booking the venue we decided on staying for 3 nights which was lovely as we carried on the celebrations. All of our families and guests commented on how lovely the cottages and venue were and what a fab location they’re in. The day after the wedding we went for a walk around the local area and enjoyed a few extra visitors from the local piglets!

We definitely plan on returning to stay in the cottages and can’t recommend the venue enough! Thank you so much for making it our dream wedding and we’d encourage anyone considering a wedding to view Milton End.

Kate and the Milton End team are just amazing. The whole set up has the friendliest, family feel. From the moment we first viewed the venue, to the moment we left as Mr and Mrs, we were made to feel at home. It is so relaxed at Milton End, having the wedding over an entire weekend felt like the most perfect mini break and it was even better being able to have our family stay with us throughout all of it. Epic venue, awesome team – we couldn’t agree more. Thank you for making our dream come true.

Rebecca was honestly the gift we didn’t realise we needed. On the lead up to our wedding she was always on hand to answer any questions big or small and always filled us with reassurance – Nothing was ever a big deal or impossible. When it came to the wedding weekend, wow, Rebecca is a ninja! The subtle nods of reassurance, the very occasional question or words of guidance for us. She was always there, and it felt like we had a true friend on hand to help make our vision a reality. I didn’t even realise she floofed my dress as i started to walk down the aisle until i saw a video of it. We wouldn’t have got through the lead up and the wedding day without you, Rebecca. Thank you for being more than we could ever have wished for.

What attracted us to Milton End was its family run feeling. The barn was full of character but still had a blank-canvas vibe so we could create our own vision using suppliers we wanted to work with. We were also able to host all of our family in the holiday barns. Being a family of four we had lots of children at our wedding and they had plenty of space to play and because the courtyard had a wall and gates, parents felt safe that they were able to roam around with freedom. The children and our guests loved seeing Dominic the Donkey and the ducks greeting everyone as they arrived was just perfect. Shaun and I loved that everything that we needed in a venue was included in the price. The wedding barn, accommodation, bar and so many little extras really helped us seal the deal on our perfect wedding weekend. The cherry on the top for us was being able to set up at leisure on the Friday, have the whole of Sunday to recover with family and friends and then saying goodbye on the Monday. The best weekend of our lives and one neither of us will forget.

We just wanted to thank you and let you know we have just had the most wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding! Starting with our families arriving on Friday afternoon to stay in the beautifully decorated cottages surrounding the barn, really exceeding everyone’s expectations! It was lovely having everyone around us, then all friends arriving in the afternoon for a magical evening in such an incredible barn, everyone thought it was the perfect wedding!! The location is idyllic, with all the piglets and ducks running around! Thank you so much!

I got married at Milton End Barn Saturday just gone and it was absolutely beautiful. I always knew I’d get married here and I can’t believe I finally have. The venue is spacious and well maintained and indescribable. The cottages and courtyard are so quaint and have such a lovely atmosphere that all my guests loved relaxing outside. It was honestly more than I could ever imaged. Kate is brilliant, always on hand when you need her and always willing to go that extra mile. Really was a day to remember.
