The Vibe
Sedgewell Barn, a relaxed and family-run wedding venue, offers a flexible blank canvas for couples to design their dream wedding. With two interlinked wedding barns, the romantic Rustic Barn and the contemporary Celebration Barn, with views over the Yorkshire Dales, you can spend as little or as much as you want on adding the things which matter most to you.
Accommodation options include eleven deluxe glamping pods, each featuring private hot tubs, en-suite shower rooms, and kitchens. The Nest, a luxury country cottage with a private hot tub, serves as the perfect place to get ready, and the team will turn The Nest into a romantic honeymoon suite for the newlyweds during the wedding day. The exclusive use of the glamping pods and The Nest for two or three nights ensures an intimate experience for the couple and up to forty-five guests.
Sedgewell Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies, offering two ceremony rooms, an outdoor courtyard, and a terrace area. Outdoor seating areas, the welcoming Byre, and picturesque backdrops for photographs add that magical touch to your day.
Run by the husband and wife team, Stuart and Catherine Tweddle, along with their friendly team, Sedgewell Barn provides a personal touch from booking to the wedding, allowing couples to relax and enjoy their day. The venue’s small farm, home to Pedro the Pony, Mr Fuzzy Face, Valais Blacknose sheep, and the trusted companion Max the Sprocker, adds a delightful touch to the overall charm of Sedgewell Barn.
