My wife and I got married on 11th April this year and had the most perfect and amazing experience at The Ravenswood. From the very beginning Sam and the team worked with us to make our dream day come true within a very limited budget. Our day went without a hitch; the food was gorgeous (so much so that people are still talking about it!), the weather allowed us to get married outside and the grounds looked breathtaking in our photos. Everyone commented on how stunning the venue is and how lucky we were to find it, and we couldn’t agree more. From the very first time we looked at the venue we couldn’t picture our day being anywhere else and the Ravenswood will forever hold a place in our journey as a newly married couple.

Me and my partner got married at the Ravenswood on Saturday. I am very emotional even writing this review as me, my new wife and our guests where treated like royalty throughout the whole day. All the events leading up to the day (like the food tasting etc.) where equally amazing. The grounds are breath-taking, and we are 100% sure that if we used another venue it would have never ever been as good as it was. The attention to detail was spot on and every little need was catered for. We had lots of children and they were all looked after with as much attention and care by the staff as the adults. Lots of the guests stayed the night and all of them said how amazing the rooms where. The breakfast was so so good and had something for everyone and was all high-quality, well cooked food (I went up for seconds and thirds!). The only negative thing I can say about our whole experience was that we had to go home, I could have stayed for days. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our day and stay so special (I ended up crying writing this #memories).

My wife and I are delighted to say that the Ravenswood was the perfect place to have a wedding. It’s set in the most wonderful grounds and is hosted by excellent and friendly staff. We had hoped for an outdoor wedding but alas the weather was god awful, but the venue is able to offer an indoor ceremony and its a lovely setting, especially with the fire lit. The food was excellent (white chocolate crème brulee for pudding… heaven!) and the rooms were just what you need for guests. We can’t thank the staff enough for going out of their way to take my wife’s mum to hospital in the morning after she broke her toe, what’s a wedding without some drama?! Thanks again to you all and we wish we could do it all over again!

We got married at The Ravenswood two weeks ago, from start to finish it was truly amazing – from the staff, venue and food! Yvette was so lovely and organised the whole day, she was always there when we needed her and completely on the ball as were all the staff! I would definitely recommend this hotel to get married in and I want to do it all over again!
My husband and I got married here and we had the best day at the best venue ever! Nothing was too much trouble and the venue and grounds are absolutely incredible. Makes me a little teary thinking about how perfect it all was and how that was down to this venue and all its staff. Can’t thank you enough for saving this little gem Sam! Thanks everyone! Highly recommended without a shadow of a doubt.
